Like the moon, I am perfect in every phase

migraine cream

As I sat on my couch a couple weeks ago

during a migraine attack,

feeling guilty and like a failure

because I wasn’t being productive like I had planned,

2 questions from my psychologist came to mind -

Is this true? Is this helpful?

Am I a failure if I don’t accomplish the things on my to-do list?

Is believing that I am a failure helping me right now?

Then, the moon came to mind.

Some days I have more light to reflect; other days I have less.

No phase is better than the other.

All phases are temporary and I am grateful for every one.

“Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” - William Shakespeare

Much love to you,
